I like his height but not as much mass as the other one. Does anyone think the first pic would have trouble breeding with his short legs

Neither one of the above birds have 'short' legs, and neither one really are bulky enough for my tastes= however they are a good solid start- and in about 4 generations you'll have something really good if you keep adding the right pieces and selecting the right replacements. They are very typical of hatchery birds. Color is also off for SOP.

This looks like the one I got for meat bird breeding I am crossing him with my barred rock hens to produce a meat bird

Ya, we get that. Your extreme excitement to cross them up is also the likely cause why you can't find anyone to sell to you what you seem to want either. Sorry if I'm blunt, but it's the truth.

I have found what I want and do not know why you insist on attacking me. I am leaving this thread so I don't have to worry about offending you again with my comments or excitement. You are not blunt but quite rude really.

Lacymorgan, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. If your birds please you, that's good enough.

You are welcome on my thread...no one judges because we discourage browbeating people if they aren't interested in the SOP.
