Hi,

I'm new to Cornish. I just acquired a pair. The cockerel has a red dot on the back of his head. The owner said it had to do with his lineage. Any comments on quality?

It is common in Dk Cornish bantams. It is actually a small bald spot.

Yeah it is bald and red.. The sun his shinning today so hopefully I can take some better pics of the pullet too and his spot. What is DK? He came from a breeder on the mainland.

LOL did I mention my hair is blonde!! Very blonde today....

Here is the chunky little pullet running by. My camera is out of batteries so you get lame IPad pics.. And the coop was already in shade. Oh well you get the idea. I will try to get some better pics tomorrow.
