There sure are a lot of questions about cornish crosses
this is kinda similar to another of my post...forgive me
I would like to expiriment with crossing Cornish (or White Rocks) with some other bird/s to get *hmm* "better" taste.
from my little knowledge I have heard that breeds like LaFleche are really popular in France?
we are raising Cornich-Rock birds for meat (we have over 400 right now) and we know of others selling them as well.
there is a HUGE market for pasture raised poultry (have ya noticed?) and i think it would be interesting to "corner a market" with a unique, almost **whats the word?** .......Bird. something restaraunts would REALLY want?
what are traits you would breed for? such as double-breasted birds, taste without compromising growth, etc.
anyone doing much in this area?
as much info as possible please; nothing is "irrelevant"
my brain is a sponge for your buckets of invaluable information
Thanks
