Cornish X Growth rate - Just to give you an idea

Someone here on the island has 4 Cornish Cross hens which are laying eggs now. He's offered to give me one for playing around with meat chicken breeding.

I think in general he purposely underfeeds them so that they're motivated to 'work' for their meals.

Mine are 8 weeks tomorrow and weigh over 9 lbs.
