The chicks were the same size at hatch- I am impressed with the rate of growth so far.

Then looks like a great growth rate on first weekers at least. Hope it stay up and you get some great birds from them. Maybe get alot more people trying to get their own meat breeders going. I know I am gonna try if I can.

So about 2 weeks old in this pic? That looks pretty good if so. And nicely feathered.

Do they act anything like the Cornish X? Do they eat all the time?

They don't seem as extreme as the cornish x, but then again I only have five of them. It may just seem that way because I don't have a whole grip of them like I usually do with the cornish x. More hatch today. I will post a comparison pic with a newborn chick of the same mix just for fun. They are about the size of my 1 month Orp chicks.
