WOW!!!! They are growing so fast!! What do you use for nesting boxes for the Cornish X ladies? Where do you put it? One of mine just started squatting, so I'm thinking that I should get a nest ready for her. The nesting boxes for the other girls are too high and too small for her.

Would have been nice to see their entire development but it appears that the OP no longer saw the need to keep us posted, but as to why there were discrepancy? I would say that 50% of the female of that cross would have been sex linked dwarfs and about 30%-35% smaller due to that. You see the Red Broilers use a Dwarf dame to make the breeding stage more productive(more hens per square feet, more hatching eggs)These guys are growing pretty fast now. There is a little discrepancy between the five of them but I think it's gender related..
