Cornish X vs. Cornish Roaster

The Cornish Roasters are bred to grow somewhat slower than the Cornish X. If truth be told I think they are probably a varient of the straight Cornish X. They are less likely to have health and leg problems and they are more tolerant of high altitudes than the Cornish X. I have raised both. They both dress out well and make a nice plump eating chicken with plenty of white meat. Personally I prefer the Cornish X because of the faster growth. But that's me.
