I bet you have a mess with those wire sides!! Take some cardboard, coroplast, plexiglass, or some similar type material, and put it around the outside of the wire, about 3 inches up. That will keep them from kicking too much bedding out.

. Mine are in the rabbit type wire / with 3" plasic bottom base cages , and yes the shaving are alway out on the floor to I was thinking on trying to place a thin layer of sand in place of the shaving .

has any one use sand for a base materail

what about the feed does anyone use a mixer of gamebird feeder with some crack corn and finch food

what about grit and how old do you start using grit for for quails
