Cortunix Quail eye problem 👁

Can anyone help me diagnose what’s wrong with this quails eye? These are the birds I adopted from someone who wanted out. Help

Wow, never seen anything like it. Did you ask the person you got the birds from?

Jee.. does it have an eye missing on that side from an old injury, maybe? Hard to tell from the photo..

They never noticed it. There is an eye under there and that white spot looks like a white sticker burr but it’s growing on them

There is an eye underneath there. The white spot is like a bubble growth thing

Can she open the eye at all? The white growth looks a bit like mites, but strange that it's isolated to only that little spot. Is it getting bigger?
