Cortunix quail with light sensitivity?

One of my quail chicks closes its eyes everytime its in the light. Even if its lost or near its friends. It opens when in slight shade or darkness. Does this mean anything?

It looks like an albino. Are its eyes red?

If it is an albino, if it isn't blind now, it probably will be before long. :-(

I usually cull albinos because of the blindness and because they often have other health issues.

Well its really got my heart right now, ill keep its brooder area covered to prevent light irritation and hopefully it doesnt get too uncomfy

If you keep it out of bright light, it might keep it's sight, but no guarantees. I love the silvers, but I stopped breeding them because I got too many albino chicks. I hate culling chicks.
