Is 49% humidity for the first few days of incubating corturnix eggs too high? Will it kill the embryo?
 
for coturnix here's what I use:
humidity: 40's to 50% ... lockdown 60%

so if your hygrometer is correct you should be fine.. just keep an eye on the air cells.. if they aren't expanding like they should you may need to go a bit drier
