I'm thinking of adding another Cory cat to my aquarium. The other two are bigger than any at the store so I wanted to ask, despite Corys being a really peaceful fish, will they bully the smaller. And the two I have are albinos, can I add different varieties such as Panda, Julii, and Sterbai, will they school together? Thanks!

Cory cats are best kept in schools. I have never seen any bullying behaviors in them. You will be fine adding more as long as your tank is big enough for more. With Cory cats it's the more the merrier.

Thanks! I know they should be kept in schools, the store only had the two at the time so now I'm getting them some buddies (hopefully I don't come off rude, I didn't want it to seem that I'd purposely hurt them) So they'll still school even if they look different?

Hopefully I didn't sound rude either. :frow I have mixed the various species and they all stick together, or at least they don't seem to notice they are different. The albino ones are usually the same species as the bronze. Most Cory cats sold are fairly similar as far as the species, so mixing them has never been a problem for me.

So sorry, I've been out doing yard work! My tank is about 25 gallons, give or take, I got it secondhand so I'm not sure.

For calculating volume all you need is a ruler, it has been 25+ years for me so would need someone to provide the formula for you.

I really want to say 1 square foot is 2.54 gallons but feel i am pulling that from somewhere undsireable.

editing after basic research------http://www.montecitowater.com/how_many_gallons_of_water_in_a_c.htm

7.48 to cubic foot.
