Coscoroba swans

breeding season has started in Belgium,
found my first egg in the coçscoroba nest today, they were only building for a week, each year she starts earlier and earlier, she's only four and started breeding at two years old, she also lays two to three nest per breeding season and all eggs are mostly fertile, i feel blessed with such a good pair,

just wanted to share the good news with you guys,

Cool, the second egg was in the nest today and they are pretty agressive, looking forward to raising my new little coscies,

she's up to five pieces now, a few more days and then her first clutch of the season is complete, than the waiting starts,

yea my uncles corscarobas have been makin a nest for at least a month.

Bad news, due to a few cold and very wet nights the female coscoroba has left her clutch of eight eggs, i decided after twelve hours of not going back to her nest to put them in my incubator, now lets hope they still hatch,
