Coturnix breeding with Valley Quail??

Would you get a cross if bred Coturnix with Valley Quail, or is that impossible physically?? I found a wild male valley quail in with my coturnix.

I don't think they breed with different species.

I don't know if a hybrid with a Valley is possible, but that male was there for some reason.

Cots can be crossed with Bobs but its challenging and the mortality rate will be high.

I don't know what others can be mixed, but I'll bet DC3085 does...

Physically impossible. Also kind of a bad idea to let wild birds get close to our domestic disease farms.

ETA: I understand that you probably weren't exactly trying to have wild birds in your cage, and that wild critters tend to get anywhere they want to go, I'm just a nazi about the safety of wild populations.
