Coturnix in lockdown, when should I become concerned?

I think I can do it for about $100. I have a lot of materials already from previous projects that I can use. Otherwise I would guess more like $150. I'm overestimating to be safe.

I'll have to switch to local barnyard mix eggs to fill it lol I've been holding off on building it so I don't end up with hundreds of feathered roommates for the winter

hey atleast they they could keep you warm i can guarantee i will fall asleep with ATLEAST one on my chest. i mean how could you not? just hope i dont crush it lol

Very true. I've already fashioned diapers for my oldest 2 chicks. And I admit I let them sleep with me more often than not. The quail chicks I don't think I'd manage to fall asleep with one in bed with me. I'd be too afraid of rolling on it or something.

awww. diapers on chicks? how did you manage that. wouldnt they pull it off?

No lol I looked at all the diapers that people sell online and kind of slapped together my own version. I'm no seamstress so they're definitely not pretty but they work. I made a sort of 'underwear' for them and put elastic straps that go over their wings to hold them up. Kind of like suspenders

No but I'd be willing to humiliate them tomorrow and make them pose with their fancy underpants on
