Coturnix in lockdown, when should I become concerned?

Or even better, make a profit! I'd settle for breaking even though. It's hard to find a hobby that doesn't make you hemorrhage money though lol

I could see a profit in quail lol. its climbing up in popularity in the U.S. for meat/eggs and as pets! been reading alot about them being in pet stores now which i though was kinda odd

I haven't seen any in pet stores recently. I did find some when I was probably 10 or so at a pet store. I remember begging my dad to let me have one lol. I suppose if pet stores carry spiders as pets then why not quail? Or goldfish. Absolutely useless. Unless you're feeding them to something. And how many pets give you breakfast? lol

The thing I like most about quail is how easy they are to process. I mean they're great in a lot of aspects but after butchering a lot of animals... yup I'm a huge fan of quail in that regard
