Coturnix in lockdown, when should I become concerned?

I wouldn't bid on any snowflake or any bob white eggs right now! They are either old, infertile, or your going to get cheated. They aren't really laying well right now with the weather getting colder and days getting shorter!

I was going to candle them today LOL it's day 3

One is listed as being in a climate controlled barn and there is a warning that laying season is ending. It's possible the other has climate control and indoor lighting. I appreciate the warning though.

I don't intend to buy them right now. I won't have room for more eggs in my incubator for quite awhile lol but they're definitely on my wishlist!

I didn't think you were lol I thought you had posted earlier that you didn't intend to candle and I was wondering if you changed your mind.

No judgement here. I totally understand! If/when you candle I'd like to know how it goes. I'm a little bummed that I don't have any quail eggs in my bator anymore.

I need that cabinet bator. It'll take up way less room than all the other units I'm likely to end up with if I don't get one sometime in the near-ish future

Im sure you can find one for a fairly cheap price and have it up and running in less than a week then youll have more chicken and quail and not know what to do with them. see you got it all planned out youll save a bunch of space with that one bator. then agai youll lose space cause now you would beable to hatch more, but shh people dont need to know that i decided to candle. lol like i guessed nothing at day three

I've already solved that. If I end up with too many I can cull, en masse, and have a great big BBQ! Everyone wins
