Coturnix Outlets in quanity, Prices?

As for raw egg sales, you can do well IF you have a largish asian population to market to, but you're in kansas, so I don't think you've got that option, perhaps a farmstand or farmer's market may do okay, but you'd need to check out state regs.

I would check the regulations were you live but I know that anything thats considered a "gamebird" I.e. quail pheasant extra fall under a whole different set of regs then chickens do. They may be less restrictive or even non existent in some area's. I know thats how some game ranches are able to process the animals that are hunted and killed on there farms.

Coturnix don't fall under game in kansas, and there is a 4% asian population in the close by town of 45,000 not what I would call large enough to support a market.

Dose anybody else have answers to my other questions (regarding pens) in the original post? Also it seems that my idea about rotating stock may be a good one as it would cut back short term production and, if my mind serves me right, increse the longevity of my hens. Maybe 3 months in 3 months out. I'm thinking I read some where that coturnix hen will kill themselves (of calcium depletion, even with suppliment) laying, maybe it was buttons, or both. But either way it should make their overies not burn out so quick.

BOBS ARE DEFINATELY YOUR DOG TRAINING BIRD. ANY SERIOUS DOG TRAINERS MAY BUY COTURNIX INITIALLY, BUT ONCE THEY FIGURE OUT HOW DISAPPOINTING THEY ARE YOUR TRAINING SALES WILL BE OVER. ALSO THERE'S THAT WHOLE FISH AND GAME THING TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT... IN MANY STATES IT IS HIGHLY ILLEGAL TO RELEASE NON NATIVE WILDLIFE--- FOR ANY REASON. SO YOUR PLAN MAY BE NIXED FROM THE BEGINNING

On the internet though, I think it was Vega Farms they said that they come back?

Depends on the state.

Yes, depends on the state but several states require inspections for selling fresh (aka raw) eggs too, so you might want to look into that.
