the only issue is that you get white on the chest you take away the ability to easily sex...however I LOVE the tuxedo like patterns soo i'm goin got be breeding for it.

it went with the rest of my flock to live with some chickens earlier this year. it was sad parting, but i got $40 for a flock of 8- thats how much it cost me to feed them. they were great little birds, but i had too many males. im gonna do better this time around. hopefully ill have fun like i did with the last batch.
 
I have what you call a Spangle (coturnix with white flight feathers)

In Button Quail it is called pied.

My Spangle is a Golden Coturnix..

Does anyone else have any.. Mine is only 3 weeks. But I think it is going to be a boy.
