Very nice! Looks like some grand workmanship and I love the idea of the dividers. I found someone local that has Pharaoh quail and has offered to GIVE me eggs! Only problem is that I don't have quail trays for the bator:-( I see this person all the time and knew she had chickens but hadn't mentioned quail until I said I was looking for them. I may save your pics for reference when I start building a quail pen.

You can go retro and hand turn the eggs. Free eggs is FREE EGGS after all and not to be missed lol.

I have a question for the experienced breeders here--can you feed fodder to Coturnix? Planning on sprouting fodder for my bantams & large fowls but wondering if I can also give it to my quails.

I have fed it to my chickens and the quail...I also use chick grit 4 them...just FYI they(all the chicks too) seem to prefer the sprouts over the fodder....looks more like worms o guess

When you say chicks, around how old? Have you been feeding fodder for awhile? How is the overall condition of the birds, the amount of eggs they produce?
