Hello! I recently bought about 25 laying hens, and a couple roos. I think I have a pretty good idea of some of the colours ( correct me if I’m wrong! ) and I may have a few mixed.

Beautiful birds, and great photos! Thanks for sharing them.

(My quail are almost all Pharaohs with just a couple of surprises that popped up, so I can't speak to the colors)

  3. I could be mistaken, but in my opinion anything that is not pure white is also not an A&M. So that one would be some sort of mix. I would label it as another tuxedo, although an extremely white one.

I was told that the original Texas A&M had some brown on their backs and head, and that most people confuse it for an old colour of coturnix quail that is straight white - although I can’t recall the name. Apparently. Your guess is as good as mine! Lol :D

My A&M's are completely white. Didn't want A&M's but when I ordered African Harlenquin eggs, A&M eggs were set instead....:lau
