Where is it bleeding from...the pad, toes, ankle, etc?...Either the quail was bitten by another, got the foot caught in something, or poked the foot. Isolate this quail if it is bleeding so others won't pick on the blood. You can use corn starch to stop bleeding. Keep the quail in a clean area on some bedding like hay or shavings until the wound heals.

Thanks, also do you have an idea of how long quail live?

Sounds like an attack from another quail. Some quail just love to go after toes.

The average lifespan of a pen raised, captive quail is about 2 to 5 years, depending on general health and conditions.
