HIYA EVERYONE HOPE ALL'S OK XX
yesterday my nearly 12month old laying hen started to what lookd like something stuck in throat!!!! then today when i loosed them out them! i only have 2 red stars the one was wheezing iv looked on byc for some answers and found alot of scary stuff lol my girl is only wheezing now no other sytems not like iv read on byc lol this is worrying me and dont know what to do as i have only had my chikgirls since june last year and they was 12 weeks old
can anyone give me some advise please on what it might be and how to cure it as i dont want to lose her
iv looked in her throat lol but couldnt see anythin that looked like GRAPEWORM!!!!!!
please please can someone give me advise or answers
o i must also say shes not eating as she did yesterday xxxxxx

So sorry. make sure you seperate the sick and maybe use an antibotic in the water. I use Tylan injectable in the neck or breast. It works faster for them than in the water. Make sure they have fresh clean water. Im sure someone else has great ideas too so look at everyones answer. I hope they get better fast! Maybe its dust from bedding?

i was told to spoon olive oil down her throat as if something is stuck it should help it lol so i have done this this morning and have just gave her some apple sauce in oil and she eat that and now she seems loads better still bit noise when she breaths but keeping very close eye on her lol
she has had some layers to eat thru the day and had a sand-bath and also she has been catchin the fly's
still not counting my chickens so the pun goes lol but i hope it was something stuck and she wil get back to normal soon
if she gets worse i will be back on for more advice as my vets wasnt very helpfull when i rang them today xxxx
