Could a rooster successfully hatch eggs?

If a rooster had the hormones, natural instinct and perseverance to sit on a clutch of eggs, could they physically do it? Would their body temp be sufficient? And of course the eggs would already be laid by a hen....
 
I doubt a rooster would have the desire to hatch. Being broody in a hormonal phase in a hen that a rooster cannot experience.

Roosters will goof around in a next box, but I've never seen one sit on eggs. They also may participate in the raising of the chicks, some do, some don't, but they don't hatch them.

In some species males take turns setting, and some like in ostrich do all the setting, but chickens aren't wired that way.
