could anyone help me?

I have never incubated eggs and am thinking i would like to try. So i am wondering how long could eggs sit till you could incubate them because if i get an incubator i would probley get a small that has pre set settings so hold long could eggs sit till you incubated? Or should i buy a large incubator and try to figure out the settings? Should it explain what to do?

I don't let eggs sit over 12 days if I plan to hatch them. Your viability rate starts dropping after that. Also, the eggs need to be stored correctly with the small end down and tilted twice daily while waiting to set them.
