Could BYC allow us to "PECK" members?

I like it! It would be nice if it sent a message to their e-mail address, like when they are subscribed to a thread. That way if someone was trying to get somebody's attention, they could.

It would be nice if you could toggle that feature OFF as well, so that if you didn't want to "get pecked" you wouldn't have to be.

I guess that would be placing oneself higher in the "pecking order".....

Sometimes there is a certain person whose attention you might want regarding a question. It would be awesome if we could peck someone and it would suggest a particular thread.

Well, *I* kinda think "poke" is plenty rude as a reality, but so many of my chickens peck at me very inquisitively or with a need for getting my attention. I don't usually get pecked very hard, or in anger.

Well on Facebook "poke" is fairly useless....I'm not sure why they have it because the poked person doesn't know until they open up their page so their isn't much point.
