Could Clavamox make a chicken's tongue white and swollen?

I have a chicken on Clavamox tablets by mouth 3 times a day for an E-Coli infection. She has been on them for the last week and a half but I have noticed the last few days her tongue has gotten swollen and white looking. Could that be from the Clavamox dissolving on her tongue before she swallows it and it is just forming a layer on her tongue that just doesn't go away? Or could she have yeast now or some other type of problem? She seems to be doing fine other than that. I am new to chickens and this is my first experience with medication and E-coli and yeast and everything else that can go wrong with them. I did search for swollen white tongue and the only thing I could find was the wet form of fowl pox. I know that is not it because the vet did a culture & sensitivity test which only showed E-Coli. Out of my 5 chickens she is the only one that got sick. Any ideas? I can't endure any more vet bills right now. This chicken about broke the bank last week!

I would call vet,ask if this is a side effect from meds. Hopefully they will give you an answer over phone. I know some side effects are, swelling of face, diarrhea, breathing problems( i am allergic to all penicillins, have had swelling of tongue/throat when a doctor accidentally gave me meds with penicillin in them). Clavamox contains Amoxicillin, part of the Penicillin family.

Human doc here, not a vet, but that pretty much sounds like a Candida yeast infection she has as a side-effect from the antibiotics. Allergic reactions are usually immediate.

Probiotics will help - I see people use Kefir or live culture yoghurt in their chickens, else an anti fungal like Clotrimazole or even Monistat will definitely help if it's a yeast infection.
