Could Fighting over the roosting spot be affecting egg production?

I have two Acouns (SP) that lay, a leghorn that doesnt, a RIR that does and a mystery light brown hen that is close to laying. The Leghorn seems to be in charge and pecks the Acouns down off the perch and they sleep in the corner. there is PLENTY of room on the perch they all squeeze to the side and leave lots of space but the other two wont get up there. We were getting 2-3 eggs every day to every other day but now we are getting nothing. But the Leghorn seems to bully the others around. All hens. Is this normal or is it affecting egg production?

Squabbles at roosting time are almost universal with chickens, and there will always be one bird who is dominant, or the head of the pecking order. That said, if your "bully" is really out of line, a common approach is to remove her from the flock for about a week, out of sight or earshot of the rest. When you return her, she will be like a newcomer, and therefore should be at the lower end of the pecking order.
