I had a hen that was acting strangely for several days, day one I found her standing in the nest box for many hours. Every time I checked the box she was in it just standing there. Besides standing in the nest box she appear mostly normal to me.
Next day she was very lethargic, not hanging with the flock at free range time. Eating but very tentatively.
Day three, I told myself that if she was still the same when I got home from work I'd catch her and take her inside and examine her to see if anything was obvious. Got home from work and she seemed much better, more alert and hanging with the flock again. I started to collect eggs and I found this on the Poop Board:

The white egg is a store bought Large size, placed it next to her egg for reference. As you can see the shell is wrinkly and it's a very big egg. All my hens are 2yr old and I do get some nice size eggs from them but nothing like this. I'm assuming that due to the size and the rough shell, she was having trouble passing this egg. If this happens in the future is there anything I can do to ease her symptoms or do they just have to get through it on their own.
