Huntington Beach is only 10 minutes away.. If it wasnt so much to ship that hutch to TN I would totally get it for you!

The problem is...... I kind of would like it to look nice.. and not so overly converted to suit the purpose. I look at all the BEAUTIFUL coops that are displayed on this site and want one of those! I would love:

I can afford to pay around 500 for the product (and shipping)

I REALLLLLY appreciate all of the feedback.... keep it coming!

Janelle, you need to go into coop building! You so totally could sell ones like the one last listed. Make you some extra cash for the chicken business.

thomp119, the last one you listed is so do-able! Check out those Craig List people and see if they will build you one like that!

sorry, I have never shipped one, I wouldnt know where to start and I dont really have plans, they are pretty easy to build with a minimum of tools required though, you could build one I am sure another thing you might want to look at is google sketch up, there are some prints on there

It pretty much is in the 60-70's for most of the year. The summers are 80-90. In the winter we get a few cold nights of 40. Santa Ana winds are the worst part about where I live...if you ask me!

I think I might have found my coop! So.... What do you all think... SHOULD I get it?
