could it be a rooster?

These 2 Columbian Wyandottes are almost 4 months old now. But today I heard the one in front make a sort of crowing sound. I'm concerned it might be a male. It does seem the feet are a bit thicker... "He" is a bit bigger than the other one. But I dont see any spurs.
At what age do you typically know if you have a rooster?
 
One in front is rooster, you can tell with a lotta birds whonis male and female by 5-8 weeks of age and usually for sure by three months.Spurs don’t always mean male, hens carry spurs too.If you look on your birds back it has pointy, shiny long feathers that make birds have, females feathers are usually dull and round.Males usually have darker faces earlier on, bigger combs and wattles then pullets,escpecially early on.
 
Oh no. We are not allowed Roosters in our town. Bummer!
