Could it be blind?

I have a silkie that I am questioning wether or not can see. The little thing just sits and peeps, if you dip its beak it will sit and drink or if you put it on food and dip his beak in it he will eat,but only if you move it there and dip the beak. it is in a tub with 11 others and will stay where ever you sit it and peep, stop move a little and peep then do this until it finds the group. Can you tell if one is blind? Its eyes look normal.

Best way I know to check is using a laser pointer. Shine it on the floor of the brooder chicks will chase after the red light like a cat. If it's blind it will pay no attention and just sit and peep. Hope this helps.
