I posted last night about some ducks that are looking a bit bad. For example the Muskovy drake's feathers are looking like a dull brown instead of pretty green and the cayugas' necks are white instead of grey or green. I'm thinking it's probably molting, but could it also be too much protein? Maybe I'm just freaking out and it really is molting. And why is it I can't find a list of molting symptoms?

UGH help!!

It probably is just moulting, but don't worry, I'm a worrier too! I think female Cayugas actually get white feathers as they get older but brakes don't, so depending what you have sex-wise it may be why they have white feathers. For the Muscovy I'd say probably just general moulting too. I'm sure others will chip in with what they think

Thanks! I'm sure it is molting. This is the first year I've had multiple breeds of ducks sooo....yeah I'm a worrier lol. I'm sure you're right and it's just molting. My problem is I've done too much reading tonight so I'm think it's too many other things lol

BTW, your runners are GORGEOUS. Mine were but they're looking a bit dull
