could my chick be choking?

4/5 week old bantam cochin roo
earlier today their food was full of litter and not able to get to it very well (troth feeder)
I came home just a little bit ago and fed them, he ate very fast like he was starving! and now acting funny like he isn't swallowing properly.
will his food go down like a little kid that ate to quick or should I do something? he is drinking water slowly and then still acts like there is something in his throat.

If they eat really quickly, they'll do that - sort of do a wiggle with their throat like they're trying to move a hoola hoop on it.

Just make sure he has access to water and that his crop clears out overnight, which it should.
