looks like the first and last COULD be fertilized, but i can't tell. I thought in your first post, that i saw some saddle feathers growing on the "hen" you had, so you could have a roo, but he would probably be crowing by now, can we see some pics again! btw- CONGRATULATIONS on your first eggs!UPDATE:
3 of my 4 Buff Orpington hens are laying. These girls are 6-7 months old now. I'm still wondering if one is a hen. They look soooo much alike that I can't tell them apart right now. Of course that doesn't helpI did find a forum discussion on the site that showed pics of fertile and non-fertile egg yolks. I cracked the 3 eggs I gathered today but for the life of me I can't tell if they are fertile or non-fertile.
I took some pics of the egg yolks and I'd like to know what you opinion is! I do have more pics of the hens running around today that I can post as well if anyone whats to look at them and let me know their opinion there too. Have fun and let me know what you think!
