Could my RIR be egg bound?

Since the warm bath she seems perky . She doesn't seem to want to eat or drink. I did push on her tummy and did get a write running discharge. She hasn't moved all day just stays under the towel. any other ideas?????

Probiotics may be a plus. Try some Kefir or plain yogurt. Hard boil an egg and crumble it. It isn't relatively high in protein (about 13%) but very high quality and high in most vitamins and minerals.

You could syringe some Kefir into her mouth. A drugstore should have something that will pick up something thick and be able to put it down her throat.

boiling an egg now. I will try that and the yogurt tonight. I will get the Kefir tomorrow. Thanks again.

Make sure they have live active cultures.

You can also mix it with some of her food.

I have named her Perky. They all look alike so when they are all together it is hard to tell them apart. She seems better today. She did eat all her egg. Her poop is still runny. I am in contact with a vet but he admits he doesn't know much about Chickens. I will keep her up here in the garage and see if things improve. What do you think?

Well my little girl hasn't changed. Today she didn't eat anything. Not even her hard boiled eggs that she seem to really like. Poop is runny and has green balls in it. I did get some epson salt down her. I guess I will continue to see how things go.
