Could my Silkies ever live with my standard flock?

Thank you all for your responses! I have great hope now! My husband is building a permanent integration pen aka "SilkieLand" as we speak. I still hope that we can eventually let the Silkies out to be with the others, I will wait until they have had adequate time to adjust to each other and once we have rehomed 2 of the roosters. My limited experience has already shown me that "SilkieLand" will still come in handy when we are adding new chickens or even as a holding pen for other reasons (naughty rooster, breaking a broody hen, etc).

The pen that my husband built is great. I have to take some photos and post them. The main flock doesn't seem to care about the Silkies being there, and the Silkies are totally entertained by the antics of the rest of the flock. They even have a view of the chicken yard from their window. They spend all of their time peering out at the other chickens. My husband screwed a milk crate to the wall about 6 inches off of their floor as a place for them to roost or possibly lay. They have a bit less floor space than they did in the garage, but I think they appreciate the entertainment even more.
