Could quail live in a properly secured tractor?

I've got a cage with no birds and I'm planning on expanding already.

There might be a chicken tractor available to me...it's done with 1' hardward cloth, on the bottom too. The indoor area is up a long ramp. I would put it in a permanent spot, I think.

Anyway, anyone done this? Would it be worth the $50?

I started mine in a tractor, and only moved them when I learned about worms. Too much hassle for eating birds. Since I don't have the guts to eat my birds after all I plan to make some tractors for them. They really like the tall grass and the endless supply of dirt that the ground provides!

I have my 11 Coturnix in an 8'x8' ''tractor''. It's done in 1/2'' hardware cloth with netting over the top. They love to eat the grass and the bugs

I have a piece of sheet metal roofing in there for shelter and it's under tree's as well for shade. They have been doing very well in there and I'm getting at least 8 eggs a day from my 9 hens. I have 2 tux roo's, 2 tux hens, 1 golden hen, and 6 brown hens all together. I won't try hatching any eggs until spring though.

Oh, and I've heard that Coturnix aren't ''nesting'' type birds, but mostly I find all my eggs in a pile in one particular corner, some strewn throughout the cage though.
