you all remember my first ever duckling, Templeton?
she(she really is a she) is now 4 weeks old.
I've noticed that on her feathers, almost reminds me of a blue version of a mallard, she is part mallard after all.
her feathers are a medium blue, with a slightly darker edge to them, thats like a mallard hens brown with black lacing.
all of her feathers are like that, and it makes her look quite pretty.
tomorrow, I'll get a pic of her to show exactly what I'm talking about.
but isn't that kind of pattern called penciled?
and if so, how did it come about in her?
