Could this be a boy? It's a Rhode Island Red. About 5 weeks.

I'm not sure that's RIR . . .wouldn't they be more red? I'm raising my first batch of them now, but they're 2 weeks . . . so I could be wrong.

Comb doesn't look large or dark so I'd guess pullet, but I'm still new, but like to guess.

Not a Rhode island red, likely a blue laced red wyandotte. Red wings typically indicates male, however wyandottes are tricky.

Not a RIR, I think it's an Easter egger, it appears to have muffs and if so, likely a cockerel with those red shoulders. I am not an expert though.

Yeah, not a RIR. I'd agree with @townchicks though the muffs seem a bit small. And looks like maaaybe sickle feather development? But I forget when that's supposed to start. Some sort of mixed breed cockerel.

It looks like a cockerel, but I will agree with the general consensus that this bird is not a Rhode Island Red. It looks pea combed with small muffs like an Easter Egger.

Yeah plus just noticed the dark pattern on his feet. I don't think it's dirt but if it is, shhh. I'm not wearing my glasses and it's 1:40 am for me
