Could this be a Rosecomb?

My mystery bantam chick is a little older now and definitely has a rose comb so not an EE. Is it a Rosecomb? It started out all black with some brown only around the eyes. Now(4.5 weeks) has gold coming in on its wings, chest and neck area, and some head feathers now have white dots on them. Legs are still very dark. Any ideas on what this chick is, or maybe what color it will be?

The very last pic is from a few days ago, before the gold really started to show like it is in the other pics. I wanted to show a full pic though in case it helps with id. Thanks everyone :)

I picked it out of the asst bantam bin at TSC. I called them and couldn't tell me which hatchery they got their chicks from. I've been looking at SO many hatcheries and google images, trying to find a match for this little chick and am just coming up short! I always get such great help here on BYC, and am hoping someone will have these and recognize the chick.

Most hatcheries don't sell mixes, but thats what I'm thinking your unknown bird is. Likely a Black Rosecomb mix.

It's starting to look like my girls penny and Darling. They are black sex link. They started all black and then started to show that brown threw the feathers. I'm not an expert on the breed but yours dose seem to be doing the exact same with coloring

I've got a few black sex links and the coloring is very similar but I didn't think they came in a bantam version. This little chick is the same age/size as my d'uccles so I'm reasonably sure it's a bantam, not a standard that got mixed into the wrong bin.

Big thanks for the help! :) Now one more question(sorry!)...Assuming it's the Rosecomb mix, when should I be able to tell the gender? Will a male rosecomb get red comb and wattles before a female?
