Hello everyone,

I was hoping for some help with one of our chickens, when we purchased them one of the chicks was a "mystery chick". They were not sure of the breed but they thought it was a silver laced wyandotte. We are new to chickens and I am sure someone would know for sure what breed our girl is. She is the one on the right. Thanks for any help you can give. She is about 8 weeks old.

probably not a slw. but a colombian wyandotte would be more fitting. in fact columbian any thing.(exept feather footed or crested breeds) but at this age it really give or take. It might grow in more feathers that would make it a sl chicken.

But one thing to remember, the mystery chick will ALWAYS be a roo.

She has a very small comb, it looks like a strawberry comb.

Maybe if you get a picture of the comb? I'm thinking that it's a columbian wyandotte, but I'm not sure.

I hope this is a good shot of her comb, ignore the other chicken falling off the perch!
