Fowl Pox and Eye Infection

Looking for advice. Have had a strain of Fowl Pox go through the flock. My hen has already been to the Vet twice. 2 shots of Excede and then a shot of steroids for the swelling in her eye. Trying my best to clean eye and putting Teramycin in it as best I can. She keeps wiping it off and scratching her eye. Vet thinks I should cull her on Monday which is tomorrow if she isn't better. Been in air conditioned shop for 9 days now. Eating fine, laying fine even tho she layed a shell less egg yesterday. Anything else I can do? Would prefer for her to live a good life. She is in a big 6 foot soft shell kennel with a perch. Been feeding her a scrambled egg a day with Thyme and Oregano in it. I know she looks terrible. Honestly, I am doing the best I can. I think I might be being to gentle and not really holding her down well and really opening up the eye better....I am a gentle soul!
