Could this be a sizzle?

Since my daughter isn't really taken care of hers I've taken over and now their big enough to be outside and so far so good

This is midnight, she is another silkie, they are adorable when they are so little but I would hate to see how my daughter handles their feathers when they get older

I think your lavender is a frizzled silkie and your black a smooth sizzle. Both very beautiful!

Looks to be a frizzled silkie not a sizzle. Very Very cute!

So...I was told a frizzled silkie and a sizzle are the same thing. What is the difference? Just trying to learn all this fun stuff

So confused. ..I have 3 that look like they are sizzles or frizzled silkies I will post some pics maybe you can help me

A sizzle is a frizzled silkie with barbed feathering (like the cochins feathers) a frizzled silkie will have silkie feathers that are frizzled. They're both really cute, I actually think frizzled silkies night be my favorite but I do love my sizzles too.

Honestly I can't tell from that picture if its a sizzle or frizzled silkie. But its definitely frizzled. Can you get a better picture?
