Could this be anything other than Mareks?

so martha spent a month inside in a dog crate and can now literally walk. shes now in a small crate in the chicken pen to reunite her with her flock and we will see what happens.

LOOK!
That’s great! It could be that something other than Marek’s caused her paralysis, or maybe she’s recovered from the symptoms (chickens can’t recover from the actual Marek’s virus, but they can recover from the symptoms while still carrying it).

so I had her in a dog crate in the coop with her siblings for maybe 2 days and let her out and all is well

A lame hen sometimes has a calcium deficiency. I've had it happen with Homing Pigeons & a few chickens. I got some calcium gluconate at TractorSupply, it's a liquid, and added 1 teasp per quarter gallon water, use as only drinking water for 7 days, mix fresh & refrigerate it. Either use a syringe to draw some out or remove the top...just make sure you refrigerate bottle too, once it's opened. By day 3 they could stand up & by day 5 they were walking fine. It might help, and if that isn't the issue, we'll, it won't hurt, so might as well try it.
