Could this be mites?

I got 6 new chickens today, they are about 1 an

d 1/2, and as I was introducing them to the flock, I noticed she is missing feathers on her but. Is this normal, or I is this mites? She is still acting fine. I don't know much about this so any info. would help. Thanks

You would need to get a lot closer than this to tell if it is mites

What should I look for if it is mites? Should I get out the magnifying glass and check her feathers? Also if it is mites, do they spread?

They will spread to all birds and the living area. You will definitely need to look at the feathers around the area. This site has some more info on diagnosing and treating.
