No, there would not be any pointy saddle feathers at only 8 weeks.

I see what you mean about the different coloring/red splashes. The color of its comb isn't showing up well in the photos. Is it yellow or pink? If pink, is it darker than some of the others? Can you take a clear closeup of the comb?

Do the redish brown freathers on the top of the wings have a shinny look to them? If so, it's a late blooming roo.
