I don't really know, I want to buy next year one pair. I just want to know can they live there all the time and how much nore space they need? So that I can add.

No, I think that space is barely any good for 1 quail. You should have at least 1 square foot per quail, with some extra inches of space for their feeder/waterer .

That's awfully small. I wouldn't use that as anything more than a temporary holding place while I cleaned their real pen.

Please think humanely. Would you want to live in a tiny room your whole life? That, and coturnix are flock birds year-round—they don't typically live in pairs.
