I bought six baby chicks in April.
    2 Americauna
    2 Barred Rock
    2 Buff Orpington

Four of them started laying about three weeks ago.

From what I can tell two of them have not started. They also don't demonstrate the same behavior as the laying chickens,, they don't squat down when I approach them.

Could my Buffs be late bloomers?
Or could they just be non laying chickens?

    I live in Northern California.

Pretty hens! Your buffs aren't as red in the face as your other girls, so I would guess late bloomers. Give them a bit of time. :)
