could use a little more help please - Lavendar feathering question

I'm confused on your statement that splash isn't a recognized color for Ameraucana. It was my understanding that blue doesn't breed true and results in blue black and splash birds? Any chance its a blue splash? I don't think its lavender, the color is wrong for that.

On one hand you're right about Blue breeding also yielding Splash & Black chicks, however, the Splash variety has not been admitted to the Standard at this point.

Can anyone tell me if my 2 lavendar ameraucans are hens or roosters? They are 16 weeks old.
